About The Position
PurposeCare is seeking qualified, dependable, honest, and reliable On-Call Home Health Aides and CNA Caregivers to join their family. They are looking for individuals to provide companion support and caring assistance to the community's most vulnerable. PurposeCare is a leading provider of home care and home health services in the Midwest, serving over 3,000 clients monthly with a focus on keeping clients healthy and safe at home through excellent caregivers and innovative technology. Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Positive attitude, great communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Solid personal character with an empathetic personality.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
- Must be able to begin your day at 6:00 a.m. based on the needs of the office.
- For Indiana Home Health Aides: Required to complete 59 hours of online training through CareAcademy prior to employment and 16 hours of hands-on training following the start date. PurposeCare covers the enrollment fee. Previous completion of this program may exempt candidates from repeating training.
Responsibilities
- Provide companion support and caring assistance to clients.
- Perform personal care and grooming.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
