About The Position
First Community Village Community Wellness is a trusted provider of in-home health and support services in Central Ohio. We are seeking dedicated Home Health Aides to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that helps seniors live with dignity and independence. This is a full-time position on the 1st shift, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with every other weekend required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license
- Automobile insurance
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- HHA Certification
- STNA/CNA preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, skin care, etc.).
- Document care provided and report changes in the client’s condition (physical, emotional, or medical) to management.
- Take and record vital signs as instructed.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Support mobility through ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, and activity assistance as outlined in the care plan.
- Assist with clients with medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment: change linens, do laundry, provide light housekeeping and pet care assistance.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and all care is provided in compliance with safety standards.
- Complete and submit documentation accurately and on time.
