About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced and compassionate Live-In Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients throughout Suffolk County, including Huntington, Dix Hills, Melville, and surrounding communities. We offer a variety of live-in schedules, including 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day live-in assignments, as well as weekend live-in assignments. Whether you are looking for a few days each week or a more consistent schedule, we have opportunities to match your availability. We also offer a "Bring a Friend and Work Together" program where referred friends may have the opportunity to coordinate or share a live-in assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
• Valid New York State HHA Certificate
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Physical examination completed within the past year
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• MMR immunization documentation within the past 10 years
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
