About The Position

Priority Group Services is hiring a part-time Home Health Aide to provide compassionate care to individuals in their homes. The role involves supporting patients with personal care, mobility, meals, household tasks, monitoring, companionship, and documentation. The position is in person, pays $18 per hour, and has daytime shift coverage. Flexible scheduling options are offered. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role.
Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients and families.
Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help patients with ambulation and transfers while ensuring their safety and mobility.
Prepare and serve meals while considering dietary restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Document patient care accurately and completely.
