About The Position

BAYADA is seeking passionate individuals to join their Assistive Care team as Home Health Aides (HHAs) to serve clients on a per-visit basis in Northern & Southern New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, one-on-one care to adults in their homes, supporting their daily living activities and promoting independence. Requirements

  • One year of verifiable work experience with a Healthcare Agency or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed).
  • Completion of a recognized HHA training course.
  • Active NJ HHA License.
  • Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, excellent, and reliable patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services following a registered nurse's written plan of care.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
  • Perform household support tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Help clients with range of motion exercises.
  • Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Remain in the client's home for each assigned 24-hour period.
  • Travel to clients' homes as assigned.
