About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for HHA - Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. We have current job openings for HHAs – Home Health Aides in various locations within Union County, NJ. We also offer Home Health Aide Certification Classes for those who do not have a license. BAYADA is celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum one year work references in any type of field. - "Newly certified welcome"
- Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Bathing
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
