About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Detroit and surrounding areas of MI. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related care-giving role preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
- Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety protocols.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide is a plus.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Detroit, MI.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients as needed.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to medical staff or family members.
- Provide companionship and support to enhance clients’ emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.
