About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care to clients in Dexter, MI. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities and help them maintain their independence and well-being in a comfortable home environment.
Requirements
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions carefully
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and trustworthy with a compassionate nature
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state health requirements
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and transferring
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
