Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) for PRN home care opportunities in Blacksburg and surrounding communities. This role involves providing one-on-one care to clients, assisting them with daily tasks to help them stay safely at home. Requirements

• Home Health Aide training or certification as required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Dependable and compassionate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable providing one-on-one care in clients' homes.
• Ability to follow an established plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assisting with toileting and other activities of daily living.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Providing meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Giving medication reminders as permitted.
• Performing light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition.
• Following the established plan of care.
• Providing care with patience, dignity, compassion, and respect.
