Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care for clients throughout Suffolk County, NY. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
- Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical examination completed within the past year
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON test (or chest X-ray within the last 5 years, if applicable)
- MMR immunization documentation (within the last 10 years)
Nice To Haves
- Driver's license preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care and grooming
- Providing medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Companionship and emotional support
- Helping clients maintain their daily routines and independence
