Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
  • Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve caregiving skills.
