About The Position

PurposeCare is seeking qualified, dependable, honest, and reliable Home Health Aides, PCAs, DSPs, and CNA Caregivers to join their family and provide care for clients. The company is a leading provider of home care and home health services in the Midwest, serving over 3,000 clients monthly with a focus on keeping them healthy and safe at home. PurposeCare emphasizes the importance of their caregivers and innovative technology in enabling vulnerable individuals to live full lives within their communities. The role involves providing companion support and caring assistance.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Positive attitude, great communication skills, and ability to work independently.
• Solid personal character with an empathetic personality.
• Must be able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
• Required to complete 59 hours of online training through CareAcademy prior to starting employment (enrollment fee paid by PurposeCare).
• Required to complete 16 hours of hands-on training following start date.

Nice To Haves

• If you have already completed the Home Health Aide Competency Evaluation Program, you can submit the appropriate documentation and will be exempt from repeating training.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion support and caring assistance to clients.
• Perform personal care and grooming.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
