About The Position
EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, person-centered support in clients’ homes in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Caregivers help clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent by assisting with daily routines and building supportive relationships. The role includes following each client’s care plan, communicating with the office team, and documenting care using an electronic visit verification system. The position offers flexible scheduling based on caregiver and client availability, onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and office support. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. The role is with an independently owned and operated franchise; hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.
Requirements
- Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
- Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
- Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
- Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
- Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow each client’s care plan.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving clients’ dignity.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
- Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
- Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
- Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
