About The Position

Kingsway Senior Living in Belle Plaine is seeking Home Health Aides to join their team. They are looking for individuals who care and want to make a difference in residents' lives. Previous experience in a skilled nursing home or assisted living community is preferred, but not required. Home Health Aides are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 depending on hours/shift selected.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor
• Genuine interest in working with and caring for the elderly
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Excellent communication skills
• Good team player
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing home or assisted living community is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with all of their ADL's (activities of daily living) including; dressing, dental hygiene, toileting and showering.
• Preparing for and assisting residents with meal times
• Medication administration
• Interaction/activities with residents
• General clean up and laundry
