About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a home health aide to provide care to clients in their own homes in northeast Queens and Great Neck. This is a field position where you will travel to clients’ homes. Hiring, onboarding, and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Great Neck office.

Requirements

• A current New York State Home Health Aide certificate
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around the home
• Prepare meals and help clients eat
• Keep the home clean and safe, including light housekeeping and laundry
• Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your nurse supervisor
