About The Position
East End Home Care is offering a unique opportunity for candidates in Centereach to receive Home Health Aide (HHA) training. The agency will pay half the cost of the training for candidates who commit to train and work with the agency. The HHA certificate can be used with any agency, provided the individual commits to at least 12 hours per week with East End Home Care. Requirements
- Willingness to complete Home Health Aide training (training cost partially covered by the agency).
- Commitment to work with East End Home Care following completion of training, including at least 12 hours per week.
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
