About The Position

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. This is a Part Time position with 24 scheduled weekly hours, and the schedule is flexible. The Home Health Aide will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Requirements

CNA OR nurse aide/nurse assistant certificate (one of these is required)
BLS (Required within 90 days)
Basic and routine patient care experience
Experience with personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding
Experience with intake/output
Experience with ambulation
Experience assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home
