Home Health Aide (HHA)
About The Position
We are seeking a Home Health Aide for our Assisted Living facility. Schedule: AM shift part-time (16 hours every 2 weeks), AM shift full-time (64 hours every 2 weeks), and on-call positions open. Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and competency in assistance with medication administration on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet residents needs.
- Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- The Home Health Aide is a key team member who provides direct personal care to our residents to help esure their dignity and quality of life.
- Under the supervision of a RN the Home Health Aide assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, transfering, giving medications and feeding.
