Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
  • Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
  • Document and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
  • Transport clients to appointments and social activities as needed.
  • Follow care plans and collaborate with family members and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
