About The Position

Provides direct care and assistance to patients with bathing, personal hygiene, ambulation, exercise, activities of daily living, medications, nutrition, environmental and personal care services to patients in their homes consistent with specific written instructions provided by professional case managers. Position requires comfort with electronic documentation and communication. Allows for flexibility in daily scheduling in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a 75-hour nurse aide training and competency program, or state approved CHA or CENA program preferred
Completion of Munson Home Care/Hospice’s Aide Skills/ Competency Checklist and written Aide Competency Test after hire and prior to making independent home visit.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

Six months experience as an aide in a home care setting preferred.
