About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide one-on-one home health visits for clients throughout Hudson County, NJ. This is a visiting aide position, requiring weekday daytime availability and travel between client homes. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships while helping clients remain safe and independent at home, we'd love to hear from you. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
Minimum of one year of Home Health Aide experience.
Successful completion of a recognized Home Health Aide training program.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Successful completion of the BAYADA Competency Evaluation.
Ability to meet all New Jersey state requirements.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client homes throughout Hudson County.
Weekday daytime availability.

Responsibilities

Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Medication assistance
Oral feeding and hydration support
Safe transfers and ambulation, including the use of mechanical lifting devices
Range of motion exercises
Vital sign monitoring (temperature, pulse, and respiration)
Light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making
Promoting client safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
