About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is hiring New York State Certified Home Health Aides for a daytime home care opportunity in Deer Park, NY. Requirements

• CURRENT NEW YORK STATE HHA CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
• Current physical examination
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON documentation, or applicable chest X-ray
• MMR documentation
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Reliable attendance and professional communication

Nice To Haves

• Previous HHA experience preferred
• Reliable transportation is a plus, but a vehicle is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one care
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assistance with daily living activities
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Medication reminders
• Companionship
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
