About The Position
Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home. Must have personal car and a valid Driver's License. Mileage reimbursement is offered for all miles driven between patient visits.
Requirements
- CNA, or nurse aide/assistant certificate from accredited school (required)
- BLS (Required within 90 days)
- Must have personal car and a valid Driver's License
