About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio. The role involves assisting older adults with daily living activities such as baths, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, errands, and providing companionship. This is a physically demanding role requiring the aide to be on their feet most of the day and assist clients with mobility. The position does not involve medical tasks, which are handled by nurses.

Requirements

• Driver's license
• Own car with insurance that covers work driving
• Pass background checks
• Work at least 20 hours/week
• Available 6AM-8PM (most work is 8AM-5PM)
• Legal right to work in the US
• Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• STNA license (active or expired)
• HHA certificate (30+ hours)
• 1+ year experience working under an RN or LPN
• Care background

Responsibilities

• Assist older adults with baths
• Help clients with getting dressed
• Prepare meals for clients
• Perform light cleaning duties
• Run errands for clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Assist clients with moving around
