Home Health Aide
About The Position
Griswold Care in Waconia is looking to hire a part-time Home Health Aide to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. This role involves assisting clients with daily living tasks within their homes, providing cheerful companionship, and performing various responsibilities such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. The Home Health Aide will provide non-medical care, assist with bathing and personal hygiene, and may occasionally provide care for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Accurate documentation at the end of each shift is required to keep the office updated on client care.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to be trained.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of home care experience (caring for a loved one counts).
- Enjoy working with seniors.
- Feel capable of providing compassionate elderly care and companionship.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks.
