About The Position
Assisting Hands West Orange is seeking certified Home Health Aides (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide exceptional home care services to individuals in the Lake and Orange County areas, including Mount Dora, Eustis, Apopka, Tavares, Clermont, and Groveland. The role involves assisting clients with personal care activities as outlined in a written Plan of Care, ensuring their well-being and providing peace of mind for their families. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide certification, CNA certification or CNA license required.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- HHA certificate
- CPR Card
- TB Results
- Alzheimer’s Certificate
- Domestic Violence Certificate
- HIV/AIDS Certificate
- OSHA Certificate
- Medical Errors or Assistance with Medications Certificate
- Dependent Adult Abuse (Elder Abuse) Certificate
- Level 2 background screening required.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation, and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
- Providing custodial and personal care services to clients under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator in compliance with the Plan of Care.
