About The Position
Preferred Home Care of NY, a Help at Home company, is hiring Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one in-home support to clients. Aides assist clients with household tasks, personal care, meals, mobility, and delegated care tasks. The role offers weekly pay starting at $18.65 per hour, flexible scheduling, weekly direct deposit, free supplies, and benefits that may include health care and paid time off. Requirements
- Valid HHA Certificate.
- Valid ID.
- Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training.
- Compliance with state background screening requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes.
- Perform light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
- Assist with client mobility and transfers while supporting safety and well-being.
- Use special equipment such as a Hoyer Lift.
- Take temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed.
- Perform routine or delegated nursing tasks, such as collecting stool or urine specimens, reinforcing dressings, and emptying urinary or ostomy bags.
