Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
  • Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is highly desirable.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Document client progress and report any changes in health status to supervisors.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations to ensure client safety.
