Home Health Aide (HHA)
About The Position
We are seeking a Home Health Aide for our Assisted Living facility. Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services. The Home Health Aide is a key team member who provides direct personal care to our residents to help ensure their dignity and quality of life. Under the supervision of a RN the Home Health Aide assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, giving medications and feeding.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and competency in assistance with medication administration on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet residents needs.
- Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to residents to help ensure their dignity and quality of life.
- Assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, giving medications and feeding.
- Works under the supervision of a RN.
