Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, as needed.
- Support clients with medication reminders and monitoring.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up living spaces.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and any changes in the client's condition accurately and timely.
