Requirements

  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program
  • Current HHA certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Compassionate, relationship-centered approach to care
  • Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Safely assist with transfers, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility while always preserving client dignity.
  • Change linens, assist with light laundry, and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized living environment.
  • Provide medication reminders, observe for changes in condition, and report concerns or red-flag symptoms to the supervising nurse.
  • Provide meaningful interaction through conversation, reading aloud, reminiscence activities, range-of-motion exercises, and supervised walks.
  • Complete timely care notes, document client progress, and communicate observations through our digital charting system before the end of each shift.
