Abernathy Home Care is seeking caring, dependable HHAs to provide exceptional in-home care to seniors throughout the local community. Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
- Current TB test
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility
- Prepare meals and offer medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
- Help improve each client's comfort, independence, and quality of life
