About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent through assistance with daily routines, companionship, and care-plan tasks. Flexible scheduling is based on caregiver and client availability, with onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and support from the office team. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay.

Requirements

• Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
• Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
• Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
• Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow each client’s care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
