About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for HHA - Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. We have current job openings for HHAs– Home Health Aides in various locations within Morris, Sussex, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren County. We also offer Home Health Aide Certification Classes. BAYADA is celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Requirements

Minimum one year work references in any type of field. - "Newly certified welcome"
Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to communicate in English
Must be authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Grooming
Toileting
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Bathing
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
