About The Position

Purpose Care is seeking qualified, dependable, honest, and reliable Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs, and CNA Caregivers to join our family and provide care to clients in the Springfield, Ohio area and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to bringing healthcare into the homes of those who need it.

Requirements

Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing facility in the past 2 years.
Minimum of 1 full year of experience.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Candidates must complete and pass a written Competency evaluation.
Candidates must complete a skills assessment.
Able to independently lift 25lbs.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and documents care given.
Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
Demonstrate tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.
A solid personal character with an empathetic personality.
Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care including baths, showers, bed baths, sponge baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linens, assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming, assisting the patient with toileting activities, and keeping the patient’s living area clean and orderly.
Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning, and meal preparations.
