About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related healthcare role preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate compassion and patience.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Ypsilanti, MI area.
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and infection control.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers as needed to ensure client safety.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and behavior to healthcare professionals.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.
