Home Health Aide
About The Position
Griswold Care in Vadnais Heights is looking to hire a PART-TIME HOME HEALTH AIDE to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. This role involves assisting senior clients with daily living tasks within their homes, providing cheerful companionship, and performing responsibilities such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. The Home Health Aide will also provide non-medical care, assisting clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene, and occasionally providing care for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Professionalism, respect, patience, and kindness are essential. Accurate documentation at the end of each shift is required to keep the office updated on client care changes.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to train
- Ability to provide compassionate elderly care and companionship
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of home care experience (caring for a loved one counts)
