About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide personalized, one-on-one care for clients throughout Suffolk County. They offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment. The role involves assisting clients with personal care, promoting their comfort and safety, providing companionship, preparing light meals, performing light housekeeping, reminding clients about medications, and communicating changes in client condition to the care team.
Requirements
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
- Minimum of one year of caregiving experience
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Current physical examination
- PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
- MMR immunization documentation
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional caregivers
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Promote comfort, safety, and independence
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and perform light housekeeping
- Remind clients to take medications
- Communicate changes in client condition with the care team
