About The Position
Always Compassionate Health is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients throughout Westchester County and New York City. The role involves providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, appointments, and companionship. The posting describes full-time and part-time positions, including live-in and weekend opportunities, with day, night, and weekend schedules. Pay is $19.65–$21.00 per hour. Requirements
- New York State HHA or PCA certification.
- Passion for caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- English proficiency.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Physical examination, Quantiferon or two PPD tests within one year, and MMR titers.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
- Accompany clients to appointments or walks.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
