About The Position

Abernathy Home Care, a family-owned home care agency, is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and experienced caregivers to join their growing team. They are hiring throughout Danvers, Peabody, Beverly, and surrounding North Shore communities. The agency offers flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, weekdays, evenings, weekends, and short shifts to accommodate individual needs. Caregivers will assist older adults in remaining safe and independent in their homes by providing personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, grocery shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments when needed. They will also be responsible for observing and reporting changes in a client's condition.

Requirements

• HHA, PCA, CNA certification preferred, but experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Companionship and conversation
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments (when needed)
• Observation and reporting of changes in a client's condition
