About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is growing and seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to join their team. They are actively hiring Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), Homemakers, Caregivers, and Companions throughout Middlesex and Essex Counties. The role focuses on helping seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable Vehicle
• Current Auto Insurance
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Active Massachusetts Home Health Aide Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Assist with shopping and grocery trips
• Monitor client well-being and report concerns to the office
• Promote client safety, dignity, and independence
