About The Position

Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) for PRN opportunities in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, and surrounding New River Valley communities. Our HHAs do more than complete tasks. You're helping patients maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence in the place they call home.

Requirements

• Home Health Aide (HHA) training or certification as required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Dependable and committed to scheduled patient assignments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health or personal care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
• Follow the established plan of care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Complete required documentation
• Help patients remain safe and comfortable at home
