About The Position

Human Touch Home Health is seeking caring and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our growing team serving patients throughout Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Pulaski, Floyd, Giles County, Montgomery County, and surrounding New River Valley communities. This PRN opportunity offers flexibility, meaningful one-on-one care, and the chance to make a real difference in someone's life every day. As a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide, you'll help patients remain safe and comfortable in their homes by assisting with daily living activities, preparing meals, providing companionship, and reporting changes in patient condition. Requirements

Certificate of Completion from an approved Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide training program required
Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to work independently in patients' homes

Nice To Haves

Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
Provide companionship and emotional support
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to company guidelines
