About The Position
Home Health Aide (Part-Time Days) Eddy SeniorCare – PACE Program | Schenectady Area. This is a Per Diem position with a rotating shift, offering flexibility in scheduling weekdays and weekends based on participant needs. Eddy SeniorCare's PACE Program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provides comprehensive, team-based care to frail older adults, enabling them to live safely in their homes and community. The team includes physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, therapists, and transportation staff, all passionate about making a difference.
Requirements
- Current NYS Certified Home Health Aide
- Valid drivers license and vehicle
- A passion for caring for older adults
- Professional, compassionate, respectful demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Personal care
- Assistance with meals and feeding
- Walking, ambulation, and transfers
- Social engagement and companionship
- Helping participants maintain daily routines safely and comfortably
