About The Position
Home Health Aide (Full-Time Days) Eddy SeniorCare – Adult Daycare in the Schenectady Area. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. Eddy SeniorCare's PACE Program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is an innovative, mission-driven program located in Rotterdam, offering comprehensive, team-based care that allows frail older adults to remain living safely in their homes and community. The team includes Physicians, Registered & Licensed Practical Nurses, Home Health Aides, Social Workers, Therapists, and Transportation & Day Center teams.
Requirements
- Current NYS Certified Home Health Aide
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- A passion for caring for older adults
- Professional, compassionate, respectful demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Personal care
- Assistance with meals and feeding
- Walking, ambulation, and transfers
- Social engagement and companionship
- Helping participants maintain daily routines safely and comfortably
