About The Position

As a Home Health Aide, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. Through personal care, companionship, and home support, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
Ability to follow care plans and work independently in a home setting.
Knowledge of safe lifting and transfer techniques.
Valid driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle for home visits.
Physical capability to perform all essential job functions, including assisting with client mobility and personal care needs.
Ability to pass state mandated background check.
Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and families.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hospice, home health, or personal caregiving is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, simple wound care, and other personal care tasks as directed by a nurse or therapist.
Perform client-directed light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and comfortable living space.
Accurately record client care per policy and report updates or concerns to the supervising nurse or therapist.
Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families, providing compassionate companionship and emotional support.
Other Duties as Assigned
