In this role, you provide essential personal care services and monitor patients’ well‑being to support their comfort, safety, and independence at home.
Requirements
- Active California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of patient care experience , ideally in a Home Health or Home Care setting
- Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills and a passion for compassionate, patient‑centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on personal care, including:
- Bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, shampoos
- Skin and nail care
- Dressing/undressing assistance
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Changing bed linens
- Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
- Assist with ambulation, mobility, and prescribed exercises
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals
- Assist with feeding , if needed
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) in accordance with competency and plan of care
- Support patients with self‑administration of medications
- Identify and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse
- Use home care equipment safely and correctly
