About The Position
Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. Per diem position with the possibility of consistent part time and full time hours based on availability in the Tioga County area.
Requirements
- One year of verifiable direct care experience such as a hospital, nursing home or home care agency setting
- HHA training program available for those interested and not meeting our experience requirements - inquire during application process!
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
