Home Health Aide (HHA or CNA)
About The Position
Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Espanola, NM to provide in-home care. This role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, monitoring vital signs, medication reminders, record maintenance, and communication with families and healthcare providers. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with flexible scheduling, including weekends, and requires approximately 12 hours per week. Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work on an as-needed basis
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
- Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
- Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
