About The Position

We are looking for CNAs and HHAs for a geriatric client in Longwood who needs assistance from 4:30 PM to 12 AM. This client requires transportation to and from medical appointments. We are a home care agency that values our employees and offers opportunities to make a difference in people's lives.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience
• Valid CPR certificate with hands-on training (virtual courses not accepted)
• TB Skin test dated within the past year or chest x-ray dated within the past 5 years
• Background check ( https://info.flclearinghouse.com )
• Reliable car and auto insurance
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities
• Assisting with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care
• Assist patients in walking, outdoor activities, etc.
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards.
